Team Ron 14 vs. Team Anthony 3

Happy New Year! And so a series marked by lopsided affairs on both ends, and tonight was no different... rookie 12 year old goaltender Calvin Quan makes his second ever appearance and gets a dozen or so goals against to add to his ballooning GAA... Team Ron had all the answers tonight as the offense, defence, and goaltending were firing on all cylinders and appeared to do no wrong... D Sean Oye makes a rare appearance on the blueline and dominates like days of old (perhaps making up for his no-show appearance from the previous outing)... Despite the notable offensive weapons in place for Team Anthony, they were unable to solve Team Ron's goaltending by Norm Chan who had his most stellar performance to-date doing acrobatic impressions of Roy, Hasek and Cloutier all in one night... truly highlight reel material... and slow motion replay would've help to faster locate the knocked-out tooth suffered by Albert Chang on a freak puck deflection leaving a slightly bloody mess and one not-so-pretty smile... playing down one man Team Anthony might've had some momentum on a power play thanks to a Jackson Chiu hooking infraction, but gave up a short handed goal shortly thereafter... and so they appeared to die a slow death on this night apparently sensing their hopes to tie the series fading away... meanwhile Team Ron enjoyed their offense being spread to all forwards having scored at least one goal including Dave Cheung with a showboat-like one-handed goal... but alas, the game had lost its intensity and both teams now look to the final game for some good ol fashioned competition to wrap up the series...

2. Ron Pong... stellar on D, all series long and this night was no exception...
