...and another year officially kicks off with the 2003-04 season back at Trout Lake... new faces abound and new captain tandems with Ron Pong and Lawrence Lau leading team BLACK while Anthony Chang and Travis Wong lead team WHITE... rookie drop-in Diana Whitman makes her debut appearance for the dark side as a rare (but not a first) appearance for females in the MDHL... had great chances but got stuffed (and upstaged) by a solid rookie debut from goalie Norm Chan... meanwhile her center Gon Yip is busy wondering how he instantly becomes the playmaker after all these seasons... also on the dark side, Kenny Chiu returns the MDHL sporting yet another pricey stick and a wicked shot to go with it...

while on the white side, they held the offensive edge and pulled away in the late stages... D Stan Quan turns in a Marek-Malik-like performance assisting on a goal in lanky-reach-and-go fashion while RW Fraser Stampvincent and RW Jason Lai turn hat tricks on their respective forward lines... meanwhile Dom Kwong debuts as a regular member and misses a few golden opportunities including a floater off the crossbar... but many more games for vindication ahead...
