Team Angle lays the hurt on the VC Express...

A butt kicking of the enormous variety on this night... for the VC Express as they started out of the gate with seven players and their captain Jason Lai coughing up the puck twice in his own zone on his first shift... bad omen indeed... Team Angle went on to jump to a 6-0 lead and never looked back... Angle's Captain Allen Leung leads the way with five goals while rookie newbies Fraser Stampvincent and Ernie Ma show off some skill and speed to wow both benches... VC fields the game's only three subs with the debut of Paul Kranabetter and veteran sub Basse Clement while Jeff Ho's replacement goes AWOL... Team Angle fielded one short as well since rookie try-out Michael Leung decides to end his contract and go back to the minors for more skills improvement... Subs or no subs it was all Team Angle firing and scoring for all directions and leaving the hapless VC team in disarray... too many scoring plays to list here but so many to choose from... not even the series start for two-trophy skills winner Albert Chang and his shiny new skates could save his team all-out defeat... indeed a forgetable night for losing goaltender Mike Smith, but likely a memorable one for winning goalie Ken Takeda!

3. Lawrence Lau... two goals from the blueline... when you show up to the games in a Bimmer, you'd better perform like the pros!
2. Ernie Ma... debut shows hints of even more super speed powers than his older brother!
1. Allen Leung... leads all shooter with five dingers, 'nuff said.
